ArchX works.
You design.

A chat tells you how. ArchX does it. It opens your documents, sets the code baseline, recalculates every bid and writes the files into your project folder.

Below: the five U.S. workflows and what each produced on the edition’s example project. Drawings, bids and records in. Finished files out.

The code in force on your filing date.

City of Houston, filing date October 11, 2026: the 2021 Houston Construction Code family with Houston amendments, in force since January 1, 2024, and a matrix of 10 review rows from zoning to HUD Section 504.

Every bid on the same basis.

Two bids checked and leveled: the complete bid ranked, the bid with open scope kept out of the ranking with a follow-up question to the bidder.

RFIs, changes and pay apps. In order.

A pay application checked line by line: the approved contract sum with a pending change kept outside, 10% retainage on work completed and stored, and the current amount due by arithmetic.

Every deliverable. Every spec section.

Project manual and schematic deliverables checked: an open owner selection, a referenced section missing from the manual, a shop drawing submittal and a drawing index without a file, each with its source line.

Don’t wait any longer.

AI agents read, calculate and write whole sequences of work. Every hour your team spends on code research, bid tabs and pay app checks by hand is fee time spent on admin. Start with the task that holds your firm up the most.

What would you like to know first?

What is ArchX?

ArchX is the AI agent for architecture firms, on Mac and Windows. Give it the task and the project files: it reads the drawings and documents, establishes the code baseline, levels the bids, checks pay applications and saves finished, editable files in your project folder. The U.S. edition works in U.S. English, on Letter size, in feet and inches and in USD.

How is an agent different from a chat?

In a chat you get an answer and still do the work yourself. ArchX gets the task and the files. It opens the documents, works through every step and saves the result: permit matrix, bid leveling, register, review or letter.

How do I try ArchX?

Download ArchX for Mac or Windows and connect your ChatGPT account (Plus or higher) or your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral or xAI. The 7-day free trial starts automatically, without payment details.
